Why did I build Haleia Academy?

I had always aspired to learn and understand much, if not a lot, of the world. But there simply isn't a place where you can easily access lots of information easily, as well as having various questions and simulations to interact with that data. Especially not for free. That's what Haleia Academy is for!

Our Mission

Mission: Free, Good Education

Everyone should be able to learn what school teaches, and more, without a paywall. Haleia Academy is a growing library of full curriculums built around doing, exploring and interacting.

Free

Every curriculum is free to learn. Knowledge is free. Good learning is free. Haleia Academy is a free, non-commercial project (fiscal sponsorship pending).

Learn by doing

Lessons go beyond standard reading and multiple choice. Haleia Academy uses interactive and unique strategies that make learning feel fresh and new!

Consistency

Typically, learning websites are self-paced. But this can lead to rushing through material, or frequently postponing studies. Try our paced mode if you struggle with these!

Trustable

Open-source on GitHub. And the Privacy Policy clearly states how your data is kept.

Learn at your own pace, for free.
